Our amazing staff is back!! We kicked off the new school year with our staff presentation of expectations and welcome back PowerPoint! It was fantastic to be together to hear the laughter and stories from their summer breaks! We also had an amazing lunch from Ma's Kitchen!! 10/10!! #CubPride

Our students earned their way to another PBIS party today. To say they had fun is an understatement! There were 4 different inflatables for the kids to bounce on, slide down, race, and have an absolute blast! This wouldn't be possible without our generous PTO donating the funds, our specials staff for keeping it organized and safe, as well as our amazing students following the 4B's! Today and everyday is a great day to be a Cub! #CubNation

Mr. Purdy had some outstanding assistants this week! It was great to have these students helping assist him during the day and go around and check out other classrooms! Their work was much appreciated and they both have very bright futures!

FIELD DAY FUN! Here are a couple pictures from this morning and afternoon. A huge thank you to Holly Evans for putting on another amazing field day! She organized the events, the workers, and some how the weather :) A special thank you goes out to our volunteers and high school students who spent the day making it a huge success! We're thankful it turned out to be a great day for the students to participate in numerous events at Field Day!

Quick reminder about field day tomorrow. It is taking place at Explorer's Field which is a block from the high school to the east. Good Morning Cub Nation! Tomorrow is Field Day for Chamberlain Elementary. We are planning to have it as scheduled. Thursday, May 11 from 8:35-11:00 will be grades 3rd, 4th, and 5th. Chamberlain school district has some very exciting news to share with everyone. Valerie Nelson has been awarded the region 3 Teacher of the Year! She has positively impacted the lives of so many students the past 15 years as a kindergarten teacher! We're thankful for all she does for our district as a teacher and coach!

There was a special event held this afternoon at the park. The mentors from the high school came down and met with their mentees from the elementary! Their end of the year party consisted of having popcorn in the park! All the students had a fantastic time playing on the equipment and enjoying popcorn! A special thanks to the State Theater (Beth) for providing the delicious popcorn! Also, thank you to our counselors for putting this event together! Lastly, thank you students for making a positive impact! We're better together!

The first graders did a big Habitat and animal project over the past couple weeks. They were able to present their animals and habitats to special guests on Friday! The students stood by their habitat and guests were able to press the button to hear them speak about their animal! It was an excellent from the teachers and the students did an outstanding job! Having fun while learning is the name of the game!

A huge thank you to First Interstate Bank for coming to school and teaching our students about the value of saving money! We greatly appreciate you coming and sharing your knowledge with our students! They met with 1st, 2nd, and 5th grade yesterday. They will be coming and doing classes with 3rd and 4th next week as well. It's wonderful to have real-world learning taking place thanks to our amazing community! #CubPride

There were more PBIS rewards collected last week! Mr. Purdy had another tie cut off and he also had a wonderful assistant principal helping him Friday afternoon! It's always great to see the smiles from earning those incentives!
