We had some more PBIS incentives collected this week! Mr. Purdy had an assistant, a juice break, and lunch with students this week! There's nothing better then spending time with the students and rewarding their positive behavior for following the 4B's!

More education happening with the eggs of our soon to be baby chicks! It's a great opportunity for the students to learn about the lifecycle and have a fun hands-on activity!

It's hockey time in PE! 🥅 🏒

1st Grade is learning all about the lifecycle of chicks! Today they were talking about the candling.
It's great to have learning extending outside the classroom!

FFA had our kindergarten students do a coloring contest. The FFA members got together and picked out a winner from each class in Kindergarten. All the pictures looked great and there were a few that stuck out from the rest! Congratulations to all the students!

The fifth grade had the opportunity to Zoom with a professor from Florida State University today! They talked about archaeology as they had recently learned about Machu Picchu. The professor is a former SD resident. The students were a great audience and asked great questions!

We had FFA members come down and talk with our 2nd and 4th grade students! They were great presenters and had the students fully engaged!

The second graders were able to do flash light reading during library today! They had a blast and it was very engaging!

Read across America week is coming to an end! Not before our kindergarten teachers had the chance to dress up as a character from their favorite books though! Great work ladies and a very creative idea! Thank you for all you do for your students and making learning fun!
